Yes. Bizword Bingo works with any video meeting platform including Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and in-person meetings. You can choose to capture your microphone (room audio), share a browser tab's audio, or both.

Yes. Bizword Bingo is completely free. No login, no account, no subscription, no ads. The app runs entirely in your browser.

Does Bizword Bingo record or send my audio anywhere?

Accepted Answer

No. All transcription happens on your device using an on-device speech model (Moonshine, with Whisper as an accuracy option) running in a Web Worker. Audio never leaves your machine. The only network traffic is the one-time download of the speech model (~180 MB) from bizwordbingo.com's own model host — your browser caches it after the first use.

Which browsers does Bizword Bingo support?

Chrome and Microsoft Edge are recommended. The app requires AudioWorklet, Web Workers, and WASM — all standard in modern Chromium browsers. Firefox and Safari work but may have reduced tab-audio-capture functionality.

Can I add my own buzzwords?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Click '+ New Pack' to build a custom pack from scratch, or 'Edit Pack' to fork any built-in pack into your own copy. You can also export packs as JSON, import JSON files, and share packs with friends via a special URL that encodes the entire pack — no backend, no login required.

Nine packs ship by default: WFH Meeting Classics ('you're on mute', 'can you see my screen'), Corporate Classics (synergy, leverage, circle back), AI Hype (agentic, RAG, MCP, evals), Engineering Standup (tech debt, sprint, velocity), Sales QBR (pipeline, ACV, ARR, BANT), Startup / VC Pitch (TAM, runway, PMF), Consultant-Speak (MECE, swim lanes), HR & People Ops (psychological safety, OKR, 1:1), and Marketing Funnel (MQL, ICP, TOFU).

How do I share my winning card?

Accepted Answer

When you hit bingo, an overlay shows with a '📋 Copy to Clipboard' button. One click copies a PNG of your winning card to your clipboard so you can paste it directly into Slack, iMessage, or any chat app. A '💾 Save PNG' button is also available if you want a file.

What if no one gets bingo?

Accepted Answer

Click '🏁 End Game' in the controls bar at any time. The app picks the card with the highest progress, shows a ceremonial overlay, and offers the same Copy to Clipboard and Save PNG actions so you can still share your near-miss.
