Meet call game

Google Meet Bingo

Play a private buzzword bingo card beside Google Meet, from daily standups and class sessions to trainings, webinars, and all-hands calls.

Google Meet bingo is a 5 by 5 card of phrases people keep saying on Meet calls. Bizword Bingo runs in your browser, so you do not need a Meet extension, meeting bot, login, or shared lobby.

How to play Google Meet bingo

  1. Open Bizword Bingo in Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
  2. Choose WFH Meeting Classics for Meet-call phrases, Corporate Classics for office jargon, or a custom pack for your group.
  3. Keep Bizword Bingo beside Google Meet in another tab, window, or monitor.
  4. Mark cells manually as phrases are said, or use private on-device listening when your browser can capture the right audio source.
  5. When a card wins, copy or save the bingo card image and share it in chat if the meeting vibe allows it.

Best audio mode for Google Meet

Meet setupUse this modeWhy
Meet in Chrome or Edge, no headphonesMic + TabUseful when you want the meeting tab and your own microphone counted.
Meet in a browser tab, headphones onTab audioGood when the meeting audio is in the tab and you do not want room noise counted.
Meet from a conference roomMic only or manualThe device microphone can hear the room, but manual marking is better for noisy or sensitive rooms.
Meet link opened in another browser profileManual or Mic onlyBrowser capture can vary by profile and permission state, so manual marking keeps the game playable.

Privacy note: automatic listening runs locally in the browser with the Moonshine speech model. Meeting audio is not uploaded to Bizword Bingo. Always follow your team's meeting and device policies.

Google Meet bingo phrase ideas

The built-in WFH Meeting Classics pack already includes Meet-friendly squares such as "you're on mute," "can you hear me," "can you see my screen," "in the chat," "I have a hard stop," "who just joined," "background noise," "calendar invite," and "this meeting could have been an email."

For a custom Google Meet card, fork a built-in pack and add the phrases your own group repeats: department acronyms, project nicknames, classroom reminders, webinar housekeeping lines, product names, or recurring executive language.

Why Meet is a good fit

Because Google Meet usually runs in the browser, Bizword Bingo can often use tab audio instead of listening through speakers. That keeps automatic marking focused on the call audio when browser permissions allow it. You can still tap cells manually whenever recognition misses a phrase, crosstalk gets messy, or the meeting should stay fully manual.

Share with teammates

Bizword Bingo does not require accounts. If everyone should use the same phrase list, create or fork a pack, click Copy Share Link, and send that link in Meet chat, Slack, or email. Each teammate imports the pack locally and deals a randomized card.

Custom packs are stored in each person's browser. They are not uploaded to Bizword Bingo unless someone explicitly exports or shares them.
