Bizword Bingo is a free buzzword bingo generator and live browser game. Start with one of nine built-in packs, fork it into your own list, or build a fresh custom pack with the phrases people actually say in your meeting.
How to generate a buzzword bingo card
- Open Bizword Bingo and choose a built-in pack, or click + New Pack to start from a blank list.
- Add at least 24 phrases. The center square is free, so 24 terms fill the rest of a 5 by 5 card.
- Use short, spoken phrases people will actually say, including common aliases and acronyms when needed.
- Deal one or more randomized cards for the meeting.
- Mark squares manually, or let private on-device listening mark phrases automatically when audio capture fits the room.
Good generator starting points
| Card type | Use it for | Starter phrases |
|---|---|---|
| Meeting bingo | Remote calls, standups, planning sessions, retros, and all-hands. | You're on mute, hard stop, screen share, quick sync, back-to-back. |
| Corporate jargon | Leadership calls, status meetings, QBRs, and strategy reviews. | Synergy, leverage, circle back, bandwidth, low-hanging fruit. |
| AI buzzwords | AI roadmap reviews, vendor demos, architecture meetings, and product updates. | Agentic, RAG, MCP, evals, guardrails, inference, AI slop. |
| Sales or QBR | Pipeline reviews, forecast calls, account planning, and revenue meetings. | ARR, ACV, MEDDIC, close plan, champion, mutual action plan. |
| Custom team card | Any team with its own product names, launch rituals, inside jokes, or recurring acronyms. | Your product names, project nicknames, recurring objections, ritual phrases. |
Custom cards without an account
The generator does not need a login, database, or meeting plugin. Custom packs are saved in your browser. You can export JSON for backup, import a JSON pack someone sends you, or copy a share link that compresses the pack into the URL so teammates can import the same phrase list.
Generator versus live game
Most buzzword bingo generators stop after creating a printable card. Bizword Bingo also plays the card in the browser: cells can be tapped manually, multiple cards can run in one session, and a completed card can be copied or saved as an image. When appropriate, the app can listen locally with the Moonshine speech model so repeated phrases mark themselves without uploading meeting audio.
Write better buzzword lists
- Use phrases people say out loud, not long written-only jargon.
- Include aliases for acronyms when teammates say both versions.
- Avoid nearly identical squares unless the distinction is genuinely funny or useful.
- Keep sensitive client, employee, or private project details out of shared cards.
- Refresh recurring cards as the team's vocabulary changes.
